Spanish carrier Air Comet is no more. Owner, Travel Group Grupo Marssans, has cancelled all flights from December 21st 2009 and put the company into liquidation. For a total of 600 employees the year ends very sad. Also thousands of passengers will have problems getting to their destination. Air Comet has a fleet of 8 aircraft consisting of two A320s, four A330s and two A340's.
