From a cold and snowwhite town somewhere in The Netherlands.

Once upon a time 99,9% of mankind believed the earth to be flat. The person who thought otherwise was a nutcase, ready for the asylum. Today 95% of the scientists think that global warming is caused by men. The other 5% are the sceptics who have doubts and raise questions about it.

Then climategate arrived at our doorsteps: hacked e-mails of researchers at one of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, part of the United Nations) trusted research groups, the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) proved they manipulated data so it would look like the earth was getting warmer. Actually since 1998 the temperature has decreased ! See chart here.

Today, an article in The Telegraph revealed that the Russians confirm that UK climate scientists manipulated data to exaggerate global warming: “What the Russians are suggesting here, in other words, is that the entire global temperature record used by the IPCC to inform world government policy is a crock”.
